I cannot confirm if the tips given by Andrew Coonan last Saturday night proved profitable for those in attendance but I am assured that a good time was had by all, in as far as they can remember!!  Not only was Andrew entertaining and generous with his time but he was also very generous in donating a spot prize on the night.  So, the first winner of the racing week was Gus Collins and we hope he enjoys his day in Punchestown tomorrow. A very big thanks to both Tom and Kate Coleman who did a fantastic job keeping everyone in check! We are looking forward to the next big night out in the club.

Lt Col John Martin was also very generous with his time this week.  John travelled down from Dublin to speak on Mental Health and Wellbeing in the club.  His talk was very interesting and was the first in a series of initiatives being run in the club to help promote a positive atmosphere within and around the club. While John's talk clashed with the Senior match and Punchestown, we are hoping that members will engage more with this initiative as it rolls out over the coming weeks and months.

Again, a very big thank you to both Andrew and John.

Winners at County level this week included Heidi Lyons and Cassie Mallon, under 16s and 14s respectively, who now progress to their Leinster final and semi-final.  Last night saw Adam Conneely win a first Leinster medal with the U20s beating Dublin. Congratulations to all, your club is very proud.

Both Senior Men's teams were on winning form this week, long may that continue!!

Our Senior Ladies are taking part in their Summit to Sea challenge this bank holiday Monday and will follow up with a home match against Milltown on Tuesday evening.

The U15 football féile takes place this weekend in Johnstownbridge.  Best of luck to all travelling.

I'm not fully sure if the U8s are still on to play Rathangan tomorrow morning but I have no doubt if they are they will do great!

The U17 hurlers are at home to Ardclough on Wednesday evening.

Once again, we had no winner of the lotto jackpot.  Mikaela Burke and Samantha Gill might decide to put their €25 win in the luck dip draw on Rachael Blackmore and Honeysuckle today or they might just reinvest and be in with a chance to win €7900 on Monday evening with Joe on Facebook live at 8pm.
