This week we had some outstanding performances on the field from our U8, U9 and U10 hurlers who all battled hard scoring some fantastic points in the process, to the U9, U11 and U12 girls who showed exactly what they are made of with wins across the board.  The Senior reserve team are continuing along the road to sucess while the Senior Ladies are through to their League semi final playing now for home advantage.  We applaud every team and their management but we send a big Bualadh Bos👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 to the U15s who have gone on to win the Féile last Monday in Hawfield.  A fantastic achievement for both players and management given the struggles earlier in the season between weather, player availability, shortage of referees and scheduling difficulties.  Well done everyone.

Both Cassie Mallon and Adam Conneely will represent Two Mile House at County level in All Ireland Semi finals over the weekend, while Heidi Lyons is at the provincial decider against Laois.  The very best of luck.

Meanwhile at club level this week, we start off with the Senior Reserve team heading to Kilcock this evening to try and keep their winning streak intact.  The other Senior Men's team will take on Leixlip at home on Sunday morning.

While the juveniles train this evening, parents and guardians can enjoy a nice cup of tea or coffee in the clubhouse.  The U8s will take on Kilcullen at home on Saturday morning, while the U11 girls will head as far as Eadstown tomorrow afternoon. U17 girls will take on Rathangan on Tuesday evening followed on Thursday evening by the U13 girls against Monastereven, both at home. Go néirí an t-ádh libh.

This weekend the annual Pieta "Darkness into Light" walk takes place and we are pleased to say that we have joined forces with Two Mile House parish to facilitate the walk this year.  Be it from the church or the clubhouse, people can choose how far they walk down towards the Commons.  There will be plenty of parking at the club along with a cup of tea or coffee to help warm everyone up.  A start of 5:15 am should ensure the beauty of the sunrise, weather permitting, as well as the glory of the dawn chorus.  Donations can be made below:

Leaving a legacy to help those in suicidal crisis or those engaging in self-harm is an impactful way to help society when you have passed. Your legacy will help Pieta provide services to those that need them, in the hope that one day suicide, self-harm, and stigma will be replaced by hope, self-care, and acceptance.

If that hasn't worn you out, you can tune in to Facebook Live on Monday evening at 8pm to watch Joe once again attempt to give away a massive jackpot.  EIGHT THOUSAND EURO, yes, €8000 is on offer.  Not something to sneeze at, as we used to say before Covid! So Joe, and his production team, namely Deborah, will do their best to make just one someone happy, if not 2 or 3.  It could be you if you click on the link below, on Facebook, Instagram, Elon Musk's Twitter, Clubzap or online:

Sheila Cordonnier and Karen Grant would probably have been happier had they hit the jackpot instead of the Luck Dip prize of €25 each but a win is a win at the end of the day, just ask Brian or King Henry!😂

Have a good week and try to make it good for others!
