It is not only the temperature that is soaring this week as I have no doubt Heidi Lyons is flying high after her fantastic All Ireland win.  After a hard-fought battle Kildare U16s came out on top and Heidi brought home the second All Ireland medal to the club this year, a wonderful achievement.  Congratulations Heidi.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

From the youngest to our oldest players, there is a lot going on tomorrow.  The long-awaited return to action for our U6s will happen tomorrow morning with a blitz in Sallins, the U12s will take part in their grading blitz at home tomorrow afternoon while our Senior Men begin their Championship campaign in Hawkfield against Kilcullen at 15:00. There is no charge to see the U6s or U12s in action and if you are U16 you can watch the Senior Men for free also but all others must pay.  It is an all ticket affair, so you need to click on the link below to get yours:

The U17s are down for a home game against Castlemitchell on Tuesday evening.

U14s take on Sallins on Wednesday evening and U16 hurlers are out against Round Towers on Thursday.

Training continues across the week for those who are not taking advantage of the glorious weather by heading away.

Cúlcamp is on this week and certainly for the start of the week it will be important to remember the suncream and plenty of water.

The James Webb telescope apparently has the ability to see beyond Mercury and discover events that occurred more than 13.5 billion years ago.  It was just 135 years ago that Tiarnan O Brien began to look forward and set up Two Mile House GAA Club. I doubt he ever envisaged where the club would be in just a short 135 years later as an Intermediate club with over 600 members, a strong and growing Ladies section with 2 All Ireland winning players so far this year, an award-winning hurling section and a very, very inspirational juvenile section.  Looking forward, we anticipate things are only going to get better and this will become visible over the coming weeks as we begin work on the next stage of the development of the grounds.  It will mean training and matches may have to be accommodated elsewhere but we will make these changes clear well in advance.  You get nothing for nothing in this life and so it is necessary for us to fundraise.  The annual Club Draw takes place over 4 weeks in September and October and tickets are now on sale.  To purchase one, and help us reach our targets, you can contact any member of the Committee or the coaches.

Another person looking forward with an eye on the past is our Joe!  Given the huge jackpot that has been building and building, up to €8900 now, he is beginning to wonder how high can this jackpot go - infinity and beyond?  Someone has to win but you can't win if you are not in, so click to play below and let Joe concentrate on the present! Tune in to Facebook Live on Monday evening for the draw.
