This Sunday, April 16th, our very own Juliette Maguire will make history by representing Teach an Dá Mhile and Cill Dara in the Leinster finals of Scór na nÓg. With only 2 representatives from Kildare at the finals, Juliette will take part in the Amhránaíocht Aonaoir competing against Meath Offaly and Wicklow. Taking to the stage at 3pm, we have no doubt whatsoever that Juliette will do herself, her family and her club proud. All support is welcome and tickets can be purchased on the National Opera House website:

Bring your flags!
Two other ladies representing Teach an Dá Mhile agus Cill Dara, Cassie Mallon and Heidi Lyons, are doing so on the field with Kildare U16s and Minors. With no superstitions surrounding wishing footballers good luck, we can and do wish them continued success!
With any luck, the last of the very bad weather is behind us and we can soon get on with training and matches as per the fixtures list. Even our Easter Camp was affected this week when everyone had to take a break due to the driving wind, rain and even sleet. However, fun was had by all on the better days.
This evening sees the first fixture for the Senior Reserves as they head to Celbridge for their match at 7pm. They could drop off the U12s in Clane on their way as they have a match at 6:45pm.
Our Senior Men are in Sallins tomorrow evening, 6pm, hopefully there to play a match and not take a barge up the canal!!
On Tuesday evening Oliver Plunketts take on Newtown Gaels at 7pm.
This is a hurling weekend on the juvenile calendar, however, with all the matches having been postponed over the last few weeks there could easily be football matches on as well. We wish everyone the very best of luck.
A very big thank you to the Maintanence committee that organised a big clean up last week at the pitch. We are hoping to paint the clubhouse as soon as the weather picks up so paint brushes and rollers at the ready, we will keep you informed.
The local area clean up is happening next weekend, April 22nd, and the darkness into light walk will take place on the 6th of May.
Having reduced the numbers in the Lotto, Joe is still living in hope that someone will pick the right 4 numbers. Not quite the Opera House, but Joe will perform to anyone who tunes in to Facebook live on Monday evening to once more attempt to give away the €10,000 jackpot.
