Well metaphorically at least!!Thanks to the Community Investment Fund Grant we now have a brand-new door and upgraded CCTV system help ensure that the investments made over the last few years, both inside and outside the club house, are protected and remain available for everyone's use for years to come. Burke Joinery fitted the door, keeping it local, and thanks to Conor Keogh who volunteered his time to fit the CCTV.
While the door itself will not be always open, we as a club welcome everyone to make the best use of these facilities. Entry to the Annual Golf Classic to be held in Newbridge Golf Club on Saturday August 26th is now open. Holidays, weather and referees continue to play havoc with our underage teams so it is almost impossible to call what matches will go ahead as planned. The Minors, as Oliver Plunketts, are due to travel to Balyna in the first of their Championship group stage on Tuesday evening. Our Senior men are out against Nurney, in Athy, this Saturday 19th Aug. Whoever is playing in the green and gold of Two Mile House this week, we wish them the very best of luck.
